April 7, 2020 Election

As of today Wednesday March 25, 2020 The April 7th Spring Election/ Presidential Primary is scheduled.

The Town of Round Lake will be taking all precautions to ensure the safety of voters and poll workers.

Voting will be by Machine only – due to the ability to disinfect after each voter.  Paper ballots will only be issued under limited circumstances.

Social distancing will be maintained – the public is urged to cooperate with 6 foot requirement.  You are to check in – vote and leave the Polling place immediately .

Entrance will be through the front door and exit by side/back door.  Stringent Sanitation of voting area and all surfaces will be maintained though out the election.

Please bring your own pen to sign the poll book.

The Town encourages  anyone with health issues and /or anyone who has traveled out of Sawyer County in the last two weeks to vote by absentee ballot.

Absentee Ballots for the April 7, 2020 Election can be requested on line through MyVote.wi.gov 

https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/  is for use by anyone wishing to request an absentee ballot  – there is no requirement to request an Absentee Ballot – anyone can do so.

Town of Round Lake

Effective Saturday, March 21, 2020, the recycling center will be limited to drop off only.

Attendants will be on duty for monitoring only.

You must deposit your own garbage and recycling without assistance.

A cash box is available but no change will be available.  You can punch your card with the available punch if desired.

Town of Round Lake Weight Weight Restrictions

Effective 12:01 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday March 11, 2020 all vehicles operating on Town of Round Lake Roads in Sawyer County will be restricted to 6 ton gross weight.
